0201 is the international code for a regular slotted carton. All four flaps are the same length, and the two outer flaps meet at the centre when closed. It is the most common corrugated format in shipping because it ships flat and assembles without tools or glue.
How should a single-wall box be sealed for shipping?
Tape runs along the centre seam where the top flaps meet, then across both end seams, in what is known as an H-seal. A 48mm or 72mm parcel tape gives enough overlap onto the box sides to hold the flaps under load. A single centre strip alone tends to fail at the corners.
How should flat-packed boxes be stored before use?
