We guarantee our prices are extremely competetive and should be the BEST prices you will find on-line, along with delivering the very best service. For this reason, we offer a price match against other on-line sellers. If you find the same product elsewhere on line, give us a call on 0345 224 3691 and we will match or even beat it! Note that the following conditions must be met for the price match to apply:
- The item must be available on a UK website at the advertised price, and readily available to purchase, with a like for like delivery offering.
-The item in question must have the same specifications, quantity and be produced by the same manufacturer - although we will usually price match even if made by a different manufacturer, as long as its a comparable quality.
- Auction sites such as ebay and amazon do not qualify for price match.
- The price match cannot be used in conjunction with any discount codes or promotional items.
- If there are pricing errors on competitors sites that are clear typographical pricing errors, these will not be matched.
- Note that for corrugated lines (boxes/cartons), the item must be of the same specification (fluting and thickness) and be unbranded.

Board-backed envelopes protect flat prints from A6 to A3, while Tenvowrap corrugated book wraps give more delicate or thicker flat prints rigid, close-fitting protection.
Cardboard postal tubes carry rolled A2 to A0 posters without creasing, and Tenvelope envelope boxes handle multi-print bundles or mixed sizes in one pack.
Acid-free tissue guards the print surface against rubbing and ink transfer, making it essential for giclée prints, photographs and signed limited editions.
Single-face corrugated paper, recycled kraft paper and paper-padded mailers add cushioning, wrapping and small-order options while keeping the pack almost entirely paper-based.
At Globe Packaging, we carry paper-based options for every print format, from single A6 cards to rolled A0 posters. Orders placed by 4pm are dispatched the same day, with free next-working-day delivery on UK mainland orders over £50.
Eco-friendly packaging protects art prints in transit and gives your customers a parcel they can recycle at home. Paper and board materials suit the handmade, considered feel of most art print brands. A plastic-free pack can be the first physical impression a buyer has of your work.
It also keeps things simple for the person receiving the order. Board-backed envelopes, book wraps and kraft paper can usually go straight into household paper recycling, so there’s no plastic to separate or throw away.
Paper-based packaging protects just as well when the right materials are layered together. Rigid board stops bending, acid-free tissue prevents surface rubbing, and corrugated paper absorbs knocks. Leaving one out creates a weak point, no matter what the outer mailer is made from. The most effective options include board-backed envelopes, postal tubes, corrugated book wraps, adjustable envelope boxes, and acid-free tissue, each suited to a different print format.
At Globe Packaging, we stock the board, tubes, wraps, and tissue you need for this layered approach, so you can build a complete paper-based print-packing setup from one supplier.
Board-backed envelopes are a strong choice for unframed prints from A6 to A3, along with greeting cards and stationery. They combine a paper envelope with a rigid board backing that helps prevent creasing, folding and light bending in transit.
For better protection:
For mounted work, thicker bundles, or delicate limited editions, a book wrap or rigid box gives more reliable protection.
A C4 board-backed envelope holding an A4 print usually qualifies as a Royal Mail Large Letter, as long as the finished pack stays within 353 × 250 × 25mm and 750g. Extra board or tissue layers can push it over the thickness limit, so measure the sealed pack before posting.

Board-backed envelopes use standard C sizes, each made to hold the matching A paper size flat, so an A4 print fits a C4 envelope.
Cardboard postal tubes are best for large posters and prints that can be safely rolled, including A2, A1 and A0 designs. Their rigid cylindrical form protects long-format prints from folding, crushing and sharp creases, which makes them particularly useful for open-edition posters, promotional art prints and anything printed on flexible paper stock.
For a more art-conscious packing method:
Adjustable corrugated book wraps such as Tenvowrap are among the best packaging choices for flat unframed art prints, small print bundles, art books and mounted paper products. Made from 100% recycled corrugated board, the 312 × 250mm size takes an A4 print and adjusts to a depth of around 74mm.
They fold around the contents and adjust to different depths, fitting more snugly than a standard box, reducing movement during delivery, and protecting corners without relying on plastic void fill.
For a higher-quality packing system:
Adjustable envelope boxes such as M-Envelope Tenvelope suit sellers shipping mixed sizes, multi-print bundles and slightly thicker products. Each size has a fixed footprint with a depth you can adjust up to around 70mm. This lets you fit the box closely to the order, reducing empty space and keeping postage costs down without loose plastic fillers. The M4 size (approx. 312 × 250mm) takes A4 prints.
These boxes offer more protection than a standard envelope while using less material than an oversized carton padded with excess paper. They suit orders that include a backing board and acid-free tissue, a certificate of authenticity, multiple prints of different sizes, art cards or stickers, or a small mounted print.
Acid-free tissue paper is one of the most important materials in fine-art print packaging because it protects the artwork's surface. It works as a soft archival barrier placed directly against the print, and it suits giclée prints, photographic prints, signed limited editions, fine-art paper, and deckled-edge sheets.
For photographic prints, unbuffered acid-free tissue is the safest choice, since some photo processes can react with buffered tissue. Place one sheet above and below the print, and for stacked print sets, add tissue between every piece where ink transfer or rubbing is a risk.

Most UK councils don’t accept tissue paper in household recycling, but you can smooth clean sheets flat and reuse them for the next order.
Single-face corrugated paper is a paper-based alternative to bubble wrap for most art print packing systems. It has a smooth paper side and a fluted side, creating a lightweight protective layer that absorbs minor impacts and helps prevent scuffs on larger flat prints, framed pieces, and mounted artwork.
Use it after you've protected the artwork with acid-free tissue and rigid board, wrapping it around the bundle for extra cushioning. For framed pieces that need more impact protection, biodegradable bubble wrap with at least 40% recycled content is a lower-impact plastic option.
Recycled kraft paper is a versatile, plastic-free material that works as outer wrapping, light surface protection, paper void fill, and presentation packaging. Its natural, craft-led look suits independent artists and brands with a minimal visual identity.
For art prints, kraft paper works best wrapped around a rigid print sandwich or used to bundle smaller products together. Keep an acid-free barrier layer between the kraft paper and any valuable print, and don't rely on it alone for prints that must stay perfectly flat.
Paper-padded mailers such as Jiffy Green padded bags suit mini prints, postcards, art cards, and smaller print orders. They give more cushioning than an ordinary envelope while staying light and compact, which helps keep postage costs down.
A paper-only padded mailer can go into household paper recycling where local collection accepts it. For art prints, add a rigid recycled-board insert, since padding prevents light scuffs but won't reliably stop a print from bending.

An FSC logo on a paper mailer shows its fibre comes from certified or controlled sources.
Getting art print packaging right starts with matching rigid board, acid-free tissue, and paper cushioning to each print format. A well-built pack keeps prints flat and unmarked in transit. Using paper-based materials throughout also means customers can recycle almost everything at home.
At Globe Packaging, we stock board-backed envelopes, postal tubes, Tenvolope boxes, Tenvowrap book wraps and acid-free tissue for every print format. Orders placed by 4pm are dispatched the same day, with free next-working-day delivery on UK mainland orders over £50. Browse our eco-friendly range and build a packing setup that suits your prints.
There isn't one single product. A layered system using recycled rigid board, acid-free tissue, and a paper-based outer mailer or box protects the print while keeping the whole pack easy to recycle at home.
Most paper and cardboard print packaging can go straight into household paper recycling, including board-backed envelopes and book wraps. Acid-free tissue is the exception, since its short fibres mean most UK councils won’t accept it. Postal tubes can be recycled once any plastic end caps are removed.
It matters most for giclée prints, photographic prints, signed limited editions, and fine-art paper, where the print surface itself is delicate. You can sometimes skip it for standard open-edition posters on sturdier stock, though it adds minimal cost for extra protection.
Roll it loosely. Rolling a print too tightly in a narrow tube can create a strong curl that's difficult to flatten later, so choose a tube wide enough to keep the roll relaxed, ideally with a tissue interleaf.
Globe Packaging stocks board-backed envelopes for flat prints, postal tubes for rolled posters, Tenvowrap book wraps and Tenvolope boxes for thicker or mixed orders, and acid-free tissue for surface protection. For cushioning, wrapping and small orders, there are also corrugated paper rolls, kraft paper and Jiffy Green padded bags.
